White Sands Cove sits on the beach in Tres Cocos, north of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye, about a mile inside the Belize Barrier Reef — the second largest reef system on the planet. That location is the whole point: almost every good day here starts on the water, and the boats leave from our own dock.

- Where do the boats pick up?
- From the White Sands Cove dock. Snorkel, dive, fishing and charter boats collect guests from the property rather than the town pier, so trips start a few steps from your suite.
- How far in advance should we book tours?
- A week is comfortable in high season (December to April); a day or two is usually enough the rest of the year. Tell us your dates before arrival and the concierge will build the week around your suite booking.
- Do you book tours for guests?
- Yes. Our concierge works with the same local operators year-round, confirms current pricing, arranges pickups and can have everything scheduled before you land.
- What is there to do on Ambergris Caye besides the reef?
