Ambergris Caye is Belize's largest island: 25 miles of coastline along the world's second-largest barrier reef, golf carts instead of cars, and San Pedro town in the middle. Resorts here run from big all-inclusive complexes in town to small owner-run properties strung along the beach road north and south.
White Sands Cove sits in Tres Cocos, a few minutes north of San Pedro by golf cart — close enough to walk or ride into town for dinner, far enough that the beach in front of you stays quiet. Twenty privately owned condos, one freshwater pool, a private dock, and La Cala, the on-site restaurant and bar.

What kind of resort this is
Every unit is a full condo rather than a hotel room: a real kitchen, in-suite laundry, a living room, air conditioning in each bedroom, and a balcony. One-bedroom suites suit couples; two-bedroom suites sleep up to six, which is why families and two-couple trips end up here.
There is no casino, no resort-wide entertainment programme and no wristband. What you get instead is a small property with a locally based team, a beach that isn't shared with day-trippers, and a dock where the snorkel and dive boats pick you up.
Where it sits on the island
Tres Cocos is the stretch just north of the bridge from San Pedro town. The reef is roughly a mile offshore, so the water in front of the resort is flat and swimmable. Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley are short boat rides south; Mexico Rocks and the north-end flats are a similar ride the other way.
The airstrip in San Pedro is about a ten-minute golf-cart ride away, and the water-taxi terminal from Belize City is in town.
Booking direct
Rates and availability on this site come straight from the resort's own system, so what you see is what the front desk sees — no third-party markup and no phone-tree in between. Our reservations team on the island answers the phone and handles arrival details, boat bookings and anything that changes mid-trip.
Common questions
- Where is White Sands Cove on Ambergris Caye?
- In Tres Cocos, on the beach a few minutes north of San Pedro town by golf cart, with the Belize Barrier Reef about a mile offshore.
- Is it all-inclusive?
- No. Every suite is a condo with a full kitchen, and La Cala, our on-site restaurant and pool bar, is à la carte. San Pedro's restaurants are a short ride away.
- How do guests get around?
- By golf cart, bicycle or on foot. Carts can be arranged for you before arrival, and there is secure on-site parking.
- Can the resort arrange snorkelling and diving?
- Yes. Boats collect guests from our own dock, and the concierge books Hol Chan, Shark Ray Alley, Mexico Rocks, Blue Hole trips, fishing and sunset sails.
