The Belize Barrier Reef sits about a mile off our dock, which makes Ambergris Caye one of the easiest places in the Caribbean to fit diving around a holiday rather than the other way round. A local two-tank morning has you back at the pool by lunch.
For the two big offshore days — the Great Blue Hole and Turneffe Atoll — boats leave before dawn and return at dusk, with breakfast and lunch aboard. Both are worth planning your week around.

Good to know
- Can you dive the Blue Hole from Ambergris Caye?
- Yes. It is a long day — boats leave around 5:15 AM and return around 5:30 PM — with three dive or snorkel sites and meals included. Non-divers in the group can snorkel the same stops.
- Do I need to be certified?
- For reef and offshore dives, yes. If you are not certified, our concierge can arrange a discover-scuba session or a full open-water course with a local dive shop.
